Meet Shava Cueva

Photographer Creative Values-Driven

I’m Shava Cueva, a Mexican photographer and author of Bebidas de Oaxaca based in Melbourne. I work with brands, makers, and communities that care deeply about what they do and how they do it.

My photography is rooted in plant-based culture, sustainability, and storytelling with purpose. I focus on honest visuals that nourish the body, the planet, and the people behind the scenes.

I no longer photograph foods, products, or campaigns that harm animals, people, or the earth. I choose to collaborate with those creating something real, something with soul, integrity, and care.

What I Believe

  • Visuals should feel as real as the story behind them

  • Food is culture and culture is identity

  • Small, ethical brands deserve high-end creative support

  • Creativity is a tool for care, connection, and resistance

  • I no longer photograph products or foods that harm animals, people, or the earth
